The Mesa Art League offers a Veterans' Outreach Art Program to
Veterans and their families,
Art League members are always welcome.
As restrictions are being lifted during this time of Covid-19, we are meeting at two (2) locations - in person.
These locations are located at the

Classes are also being presented through a Zoom format to keep all participants and instructors safe.
On April 6th and April 20th.

Veteran, Caryn Walsh teaches this class on Creative Collage. Learn how you can create works of art with simple materials already laying around your house. Junk paper & mail can be repurposed, a little glue, maybe some paint or crayons? This is a fun video we think you will enjoy!
Veteran Lawrence Moody teaches you how to get creative with Paper Mache! Be amazed at all the different possibilities this medium can offer! Have fun with the entire family with this project!
You don't have to be a mechanic to create unique art forms in metal. Mesa Art League President, Loralee Stickel-Harris teaches simple metal techniques that can be used on copper and other metals.
Elizabeth Scriba demonstrates how you can make your own Banner or Flag. Custom Banners or Flags are perfect for those own special occasions or to make your own statement.
Postcards are a great way to stay in touch with friends and loved ones. Linda Jones demonstrates how you can create your own postcards for any occasion.
Learn some fun Air Dried Clay techniques using an awl or nail. Air Dried Clay is a great medium for molding & sculpting and does not require a kiln firing. This Clay can be painted with Acrylics or even Watercolor. Because of its simplicity, it is a favorite for kids of all ages.
